
Mercy Circle of Care Enrollment Specialists work with uninsured individuals to help them obtain affordable healthcare. This is available to anyone in the community.
First, we determine if an individual may be eligible for State Medical Assistance (Medicaid). Medicaid is designed to help those who qualify pay for medical expenses. If you are elibile, we will go through the enrollment process with you.

If you are not eligible for Medicaid, we will work with you to see if other low cost insurance options might work for you. These options include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Adult Basic: This program provides inexpensive health insurance for adults meeting certain eligibility requirements in Philadelphia.
- Special Care: Blue Cross and Blue Shield affordable health insurance plan for people who earn too much to qualify for Medicaid, yet cannot afford conventional health insurance.
- CHIP: This program is for children in the Philadelphia area whose families do not meet the income requirements for Medicaid and cannot afford conventional health insurance.
- Alliance for Affordable Services: a customizable health plan to fit your lifestyle, budget, and health needs.
